ON THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

JOB APPLICANT PRIVACY NOTICE

Dear Job Applicant,

This privacy notice has been prepared by A.B Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş., acting in its capacity as data controller, within the framework of Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, in order to inform you about the purposes for which your personal data are processed, the legal grounds for the processing, the method of collection, to whom your personal data may be transferred, and your rights under the KVKK.

We have no absolute control over the information you provide in the CVs you send us or on the websites through which you reach us. We recommend that you do not share with our Company your personal data that you do not wish us to know or your special categories of personal data.

1. Which of Your Personal Data Do We Process?

   • Your name, surname, date and place of birth, gender, marital status and nationality information;

   • Your e-mail address, address and mobile phone number;

   • Information concerning your health, if you include it in your CV (such as your disability status);

   • Your educational background, certificate and diploma information, information on your area of expertise, foreign language skills, information concerning your abilities, information on the seminars and courses you have attended, computer skills and exam result information;

   • Information concerning your work experience (for example, the sectors and companies you have previously worked in, your position, your responsibilities and the wage you received);

   • Your photograph;

   • Your driver’s license information;

   • Information concerning your hobbies;

   • Your salary expectation;

   • Your military service status information,

   • Your reference information (the referee’s name and surname, title, workplace and contact details),

   • Your other information that you add to your CV of your own free will but that we cannot foresee.

   The data listed above are processed in accordance with the KVKK.
   
   The data in question may be retained by A.B Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş. for up to 1 year if your job application is not accepted and, if it is accepted, for up to 10 years from the date you leave the workplace.

2. For What Purposes Do We Process Your Personal Data?
   Your personal data stated above are processed for the following purposes for the performance of this Service Agreement relating to the employment service we provide to you:

   • Managing your job application process,

   • Being able to contact you,

   • Determining whether you have the necessary qualifications for the position we will offer you,

   • Being able to speak with persons from whom we may obtain references about you and determining whether you are suitable for the job,

   • Determining the position you wish to work in, your salary expectation, whether or not you could work in other positions, and your start date,

   • Determining whether or not you are able to drive a vehicle should the need arise to use Company vehicles,

   • Determining whether your age is suitable for the position to be offered to you and ensuring compliance with the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles for the Employment of Child and Young Workers,

   • Enabling our human resources department to remember you easily when you come to the interview,

   • Being able to contact the job applicant and, if the job applicant is hired, preparing his or her personnel file,

   • Determining whether you have any circumstance that could interrupt your work during the term of the employment contract, and ensuring compliance with the provision of Article 75 of Military Criminal Code No. 1632.

3. By What Method and on What Legal Grounds Do We Process Your Personal Data?
   The personal data in question are processed, subject to your explicit consent, on the basis of the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the Law, namely (i) “processing being necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation”, (ii) “processing of data being necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject” and (iii) “processing of personal data of the parties to a contract being necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of that contract”, by automated means (for example, data being sent automatically to our system over the internet) or by non-automated means (for example, our noting down information you give us by telephone).
4. To Whom and for What Purposes Do We Transfer Your Personal Data?
   Your personal data may be transferred to judicial authorities or the relevant law enforcement agencies for the resolution of legal disputes or, upon request, as required by the relevant legislation.
5. What Are Your Rights Regarding the Processing of Personal Data and How Can You Exercise These Rights?
   You may submit your requests concerning your rights set out in Article 11 of the KVKK to A.B Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş., in accordance with Article 5 of the “Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller”, in writing or by using a registered electronic mail (KEP) address, a secure electronic signature, a mobile signature, or the e-mail address previously notified to the data controller by the data subject and registered in the data controller’s system.
